Community Standards

Community Guidelines

Rage BASS is built on respect, passion, and the love of music. These guidelines ensure our community stays vibrant, legal, and true to its roots.

Core Principles

Non-Profit Sharing Only

Rage BASS is a platform for sharing remixes, bootlegs, and DJ mixes with the community—not for commercial gain. All content shared here must be:

  • Non-monetized: No selling, paywalls, or commercial distribution
  • Shared for community: Uploaded to celebrate artists and connect DJs/producers
  • Fan-made only: Personal remixes, bootlegs, and edits—not official releases

Artist Credit & Respect

Every remix is built on the work of original artists. Honor them:

  • Tag original artists: Always credit the producers/vocalists in your track tags
  • Mention in description: Include artist names and song titles in your track description
  • Link original work: When possible, link to official releases or artist pages
  • Respect their wishes: If an artist asks you to remove a remix, comply immediately

What You Can Share

  • Your own remixes & bootlegs — Remixes of songs you love
  • DJ mixes & sets — Live recordings, mix compilations featuring multiple artists
  • Mashups & edits — Creative reworks that transform the original
  • Fan-made acapella splits — Created for the remix community to use
  • Unreleased/rare tracks — Shared to celebrate artists and expand discovery

What's Not Allowed

  • Official releases: Uploading tracks you didn't create or remix
  • Monetized content: Paywalls, selling access, or profiting from others' work
  • Claiming credit: Passing off official tracks as your own remixes
  • Ignoring DMCA requests: Artists own their work—respect takedown notices
  • Hateful or offensive content: Remix culture is inclusive—no discrimination
  • Spam or self-promotion: Excessive cross-posting or comment spam

Community Conduct

Be respectful: Constructive feedback helps producers grow. Negativity and harassment have no place here.

Give credit: If you use someone's remix, acapella, or sample pack, tag them in your description.

Engage genuinely: Comments should be thoughtful. Support the community—like tracks you enjoy, give feedback, share artists you love.

Follow the law: We comply with copyright and DMCA takedown requests. Respect intellectual property.

No spam: Don't flood comments with links or self-promotion. Share your work in your profile and let quality speak.

DMCA & Artist Requests

Artists own their work. If an artist or rights holder requests removal of a remix, we will comply immediately. This protects both the artist and our community.

For artists: If your work has been remixed without permission or inappropriately, contact us immediately. We will investigate and take action.

For producers: Respect takedown requests. If asked to remove a remix, honor that request. It shows integrity and keeps our community trustworthy.

Our Mission

Rage BASS exists to celebrate the artists we love and the community that thrives on creativity and respect. We're here to share bootlegs, remixes, and DJ mixes in a way that honors original work and builds genuine connection.

When everyone respects the process—crediting artists, rejecting profit motives, and engaging with integrity—we all win.
